We will also have themed baskets in a wide range of values suitable to put directly under the tree as a gift with no additional work of wrapping or to use as a hostess gift at your holiday gatherings. We will have several unique baskets, including sleighs, trucks, and other special décor filled with goodies. Bidding closes at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 6, and highest bidders will be notified by phone. We will also have a buy-now price on all items. Free baskets to fill or trees to decorate for the silent auction will be distributed to parishioners after all the masses on the week end of September 18-19, on a first-come basis.

We also have hand-made knitted and sewn items, “Aprons by Jean” (artistically decorated for adults and children) and other crafts made by our talented parishioners. Also, selling gift card holders, candy-filled stocking stuffers, greeting cards, calendars and many more unique decorations and gifts. You won’t find these items at other bazaars.
RAFFLE OF FULL-SIZE QUILT in “Ohio Star Pattern”- The Ohio Star pattern is a classic quilt design of squares and triangles and has a rich history in American quilting stories. The sharp points and angles, along with the mix of dark versus light colors, add movement to the design. The quilt top was purchased from Dorothy Kramer in Westport, IN, and was hand-quilted by St. Agnes Guild members and their friends (Quilters were Dolores Francis, JoAnn Garreaux, Toni Page, Jean Wawrzyniak, and Donna Braas, binding by Julianna Crawley). Suggested donation amount is $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets. Drawing will take place at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 6, in the basement of the church. (You do not have to be present to win.) Tickets will be sold after masses at St. Agnes for three weekends beginning October 16, and at the Bazaar on November 5-6. Parishioners will also receive tickets in the mail, which can be returned to the office or to Guild members selling tickets during October. (Note: The Quilt Raffle is a charity-gaming exempt event approved by the Indiana Gaming Commission. No one under 18 years of age may purchase or sell a ticket, nor win the raffle prize or accept it on behalf of another person. House rules for the raffle will be posted at the bazaar.)
GRANDMA’S KITCHEN:Selling your favorite cookies, pies, cakes and other baked goodies. Also selling dipped pretzels, parishioners homemade canned specialties, and tins of Brenda’s fudge (so delicious you’ll have to come early to get this!).
